Manas is a 1st  year graduate student pursuing a Masters in Pure Math. He grew up in India and plans to do further studies towards a PhD. His areas of interest include Category Theory, Logic, Algebraic Topology. He is also enthusiastic about discussions involving Calculus, Analysis and Algebra.

He is also a self-taught western classical pianist and has a range of favorite composers from Scarlatti, Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin to Rachmaninoff and Shostakovich. He has also received basic vocal training in Indian (Hindustani) Classical Music. Apart from his love for discussing math and music he also loves to discuss about various religious and spiritual philosophies concerning human existence and the life beyond, with beliefs rooted in the ancient Vedic Hindu philosophy, including various meditation techniques.
