The West Virginia University Student Chapter of the
Association for Women in Mathematics
(WVU at AWM) is an organization aimed to encourage undergraduate students, graduate
students and faculty, especially women, to further their interest and involvement
in their chosen degree field or career path and the West Virginia University Department
of Mathematics. Through career development opportunities, community outreach possibilities,
networking experiences, social gatherings and other related events, WVU at AWM
seeks to foster a positive environment and promote equal opportunity for women
in Mathematics.
