One of our math graduate students Uyen (Enni) Le was selected to present her poster at the Association for Women in Mathematics Graduate Student Poster Competition at the Joint Mathematics Meeting (JMM) in Boston in January 2023. The JMM is known as the largest annual meeting of mathematicians in the US and in the world.
We are happy to announce that Enni won the Outstanding Graduate Student Research Poster Award in this competition.
Enni is writing her PhD thesis on Commutative and Homological Algebra under the supervision of Dr. Olgur Celikbas. She is also the president of the Association for Women in Mathematics WVU Student Chapter at our school. During the conference, she also helped Dr. Tsikkou and Dr. Tudorascu with the Graduate Student Fair. We are very proud of her and her accomplishments!
